Equilibrium Capital invests its own funds in supporting businesses at different stages of the growth cycle. We have backed companies with seed capital as well as later funding rounds as the investee companies mature. We are sector agnostic and will consider investment proposals for Seed Capital, Venture Capital, Series Funding, Joint Ventures and Pre-IPO allocations.

Seed Capital for the launch of Blink Brow Bar, a specialist in threading and beauty services launched in 2004. Continued working capital support as the business grew to over 30 outlets across the UK and expansion to the US. The business was the pioneer of brow bars which have since become de rigeur in the beauty retail landscape.

Bulldog London Dry Gin is the fastest growing premium gin in the world available in more than 80 countries globally. It was launched in 2007 by entrepreneur Anshuman Vohra and has since established itself as an iconic brand in the steadily growing premium Gin market. Bulldog is manufactured in England and is quadruple distilled in traditional copper pot stills and infused with a melange of 12 botanicals from eight countries. US based Wine Enthusiast Magazine recently awarded Bulldog with one its highest ratings ever bestowed on a Gin company.

In conjunction with Farlap Capital we participated in a Series G Private Equity fundraising transaction for CK3 LLC the holding company for Bulldog London Dry Gin which was followed by a successful exit when the business was sold to Campari within 18 months of the investment.

Our Space is an operator of serviced office spaces across London. The model relies on acquiring redundant or superfluous commercial leases at a discount. The spaces are then converted to full plate serviced offices which are let on long or short term leases.

We participated in the flagship offering in Lansdowne House, a prominent building in Berkeley Square, Mayfair and another landmark building behind Portman Square, Marylebone in a Joint Venture with the operators providing investment capital for the building conversion and ongoing working capital.

Monument Bank established in 2018 was designed to serve the market segment between Premier Banking and Private Banking. We backed the founders and participated in the initial seed capital and subsequent rights issues. The investment was used to establish the concept, create the Board, invest in the digital applications and see the business through to the grant of a banking licence. In 2020 the bank was granted its UK licence (authorised with restrictions) prior to launching officially in 2021.
